Obituary

Edgar McClellan Chambers, Jr. died February 28, 2007 at the age of 54 due to brain cancer. Born October 9, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas Ed grew up in San Antonio and attended Alamo Heights High School. He made his home in Las Vegas and Austin before returning to San Antonio. He is preceded in death by parents Ed Chambers and Loyce Lehman Chambers Talbert. He is survived by sister Jennifer Geyer; sister Catherine Kappel and husband Joseph; sister Elizabeth Diggs and husband John and their children John Wesley, Justin, and Jordan. Other survivors include a half sister and brother of Austin. Family wishes to thank the Chandler House nursing staff and Odyssey Hospice for their compassionate care given to Ed.
